Data Retention

Mondly retains personal data for as long as the user wishes to maintain an account with us. If a user decides to close their account, we typically retain the data for up to 7 years following the end of our relationship, unless a specific request for deletion is made. 

During this period, data may be retained for purposes such as fulfilling legal obligations or resolving disputes. If you would like your data to be deleted before this timeframe, you can submit a request for deletion, and we will process it in accordance with applicable data protection laws. 

Please note that deleting the app from your device is not the same as closing your account or requesting deletion of your personal data. You must submit a separate request to close your account or request data deletion.
